# City council seeks to block Denver Flock cameras contract # CBS Colorado — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDDykCopv8c Nine Denver city council members are asking to stop a recently announced plan to keep Flock cameras in the city. Last week, Mayor Mike Johnston announced a deal with Flock to extend the contract five more months for no extra costs while putting restrictions on data sharing. Over the weekend, the majority of the council signed onto a letter asking the auditor not to sign the contract, saying in part there is still concerns over Flock's trustworthiness and the way that the deal was done behind the backs of city council members. The auditor co-signs all contracts and he told the council that he would review the contract and make sure it meets city rules.
