You have the right to stay silent, the right to not open your door without a judicial warrant, and the right to speak to a lawyer. You never have to sign anything you don't understand.

Warrant check. An ICE / administrative warrant (Form I-200 or I-205) is signed by an ICE officer — it does not authorize entry into your home. Only a judicial warrant signed by a court judge does.   1. Do not open the door. Talk through it. Opening the door can be treated as letting them in.Ask them to pass ID and any warrant under the door.

  • Date, time, and exact location (street, cross-streets, business name).
