WorldMapper

Capture, map, measure, and understand any place.

Upload photographs from any drone, camera or phone — or an existing map, point cloud or model — and WorldMapper turns them into an orthophoto, elevation surfaces, a 3D model and a dated record of the site, with the accuracy stated plainly. Capture, map, measure, and understand any place.

How it works

1. Site

Name the place, draw or import its boundary, choose who can see it. Private by default.

2. Mission

One dated capture: the aircraft, camera, purpose, weather, control method and coordinate frame.

3. Upload and check

Photographs and data upload in resumable parts and are inventoried with their hashes and metadata. Automated checks say what a run will meet.

4. Process

OpenDroneMap runs on a processing node, never on this web server. Every run is kept; reprocessing makes a new one.

5. View, measure, report

2D and 3D viewers, measurements that remember their source and class, and an accuracy-and-limitations report with every deliverable.

6. Return and compare

Each mission stays on the site's timeline; later captures compare against earlier ones with the uncertainty stated.
